Rector's Welcome

A warm welcome to you from The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection! We are happy for the chance to introduce you to our community of faith, located in the Lake Hills and Crossroads neighborhood of Bellevue, WA.

Our community is part of the Episcopal Church. Our walk in faith is shaped by the beauty and fellowship found in weekly worship, sharing our experiences of God, and serving in a wide variety of ministries.

We encourage you to come and experience Christ's love here - whether in prayer and worship, fellowship events, study and conversation, or active ministry in our local community. If you are a seeker looking for a place to ask questions and try out life in community, you are welcome here. We invite you to come listen, explore, learn and celebrate with us - who are fellow seekers - and to take part as you feel called to do. We hope you will experience the presence and love of Christ through each person you meet here.

Our door is open to all. We look forward to meeting you!

Rev. Edith Weller, Rector

The Third Annual Fair at Resurrection
Saturday, September 6th, 10 am - 4 pm

Sponsored by the Church of the Resurrection

Our Neighborhood Fair plans are well underway with the promise of this year’s event being the biggest and best! We already have more exhibitors signed up than last year. We do have 7 spaces remaining so invite your crafter, artist or business friend to request a contact right away.

The children’s area will be exciting with the Bouncy House, Face Painting, a Magician and a Clown Balloon Lady, plus games to play. Hosanna and Resurrection will have their tasty cuisines alongside Winegar’s gourmet ice cream, voted PM Magazine’s best in WA State last summer.

Music, Music, Music - Do you know of someone or a group that would like to perform at the fair? We need more musical participants.

Resurrection’s Stewardship Committee will soon be seeking your help with the bake sale. Be thinking about your favorite recipe to bake. How about some breakfast pastries? Smaller portions sell the best so cupcakes are preferred along with all your other delicious treats.

Look for our fair flyers and help distribute them to your family, neighbors and friends. Ask the businesses you visit to post one. Be ready to come to the Third Annual Neighborhood Fair!

Summer Sabbatical for Thursday Morning Worship and Bible Study

Our Thursday morning gatherings for Morning Prayer (10:00) and Bible study (10:30) in the Cabana will take a sabbatical for the rest of the summer. We will meet again starting on Thursday, September 11th. Please enjoy this time of refreshment and witnessing God’s Word in various summer settings.

Please note that the Men’s Group will continue to meet weekly at 10 AM in the library downstairs in the St. James Building.

Crossroads Community Dinners

"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me" Matthew 25:35.

Mark your calendars for our next meal opportunity – Thursday, July 31st. The sign-up sheet is on the purple section of the church bulletin board. Servers are especially needed. Thank you in advance for all who will help that night in our snazzy red aprons!
