The first steps in the Profile process to find a new priest have begun. Virginia Hofmeister, Leon Broguiere, and Karna Chadwick
are the appointed committee, but each member of the congregation will be invited to help in the process.
The portfolio document is in the process of being written right now. It involves twelve questions about the church that have to be
answered in about six sentences each. The narratives should reflect who we are and who we want to be. Some of you have already
been contacted for input and we will pick the brains of others for facts and ideas. We want to be as accurate as possible.
The portfolio draft then goes to the Vestry for approval or adjustment and then will be available in the church for comments from
the congregation. The final document than goes to the Bishop.
The next step will be Conversations, a computer questionnaire for each member of the church to be completed in February. Instructions
will follow later. After results from the Conversations, the Profile can be compiled. It is a more detailed document with
much statistical information as well as history, future plans, and more input from ministries.
It is a long process and will require help from everyone.
