Rector's Welcome
A warm welcome to you from The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection! We are
happy for the chance to introduce you to our community of faith, located in the
Lake Hills and Crossroads neighborhood of Bellevue, WA.
Our community is part of the Episcopal Church. Our walk in faith is shaped by the
beauty and fellowship found in weekly worship, sharing our experiences of God, and
serving in a wide variety of ministries.
We encourage you to come and experience Christ's love here - whether in prayer and
worship, fellowship events, study and conversation, or active ministry in our local
community. If you are a seeker looking for a place to ask questions and try out
life in community, you are welcome here. We invite you to come listen, explore,
learn and celebrate with us - who are fellow seekers - and to take part as you feel
called to do. We hope you will experience the presence and love of Christ through
each person you meet here.
Our door is open to all. We look forward to meeting you!
Rev. Edith Weller, Rector
Exploring Our Epiphanies
Please join us during the season of Epiphany for the next part of our adult formation
series. We will take the opportunity to explore our experience of giving and receiving
the "Light of Christ" through sharing small vignettes from our personal and corporate
stories.
We will gather at 9:05 in the Cabana on January 15, 22, 29th and February 12 and
19th. Everyone is welcome!

25th annual Thanksgiving Eve Community Worship Service

On Thanksgiving Eve, congregations from St. Louise Roman Catholic Church, Cross
of Christ Lutheran Church, Temple B'Nai Torah, Episcopal Church of the Resurrection
and Holy Apostles Episcopal Church celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Lake Hills
Interfaith Covenant. The service was hosted at the Temple B'Nai Torah.
We were blessed by the presence of Archbishop Peter Sartain of the Roman Catholic
Archdiocese of Seattle, Bishop Chris Boerger of the Northwest Washington Synod ELCA,
Bishop Greg Rickel of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia and Rabbi Emeritus Stanley
Yedwab of the Union of Reform Judaism.
"Wine into Water"
The youth group has raised $2283.35 for Wine into Water! Many thanks to all
those who donated. "Wine into Water" is a project developed by Episcopal Relief
& Development and the Diocese of Olympia to provide clean, potable water to
countries that ERD serves.
